Sun Moon Sea – Arising and Passing (Peace Orchestra)

Arising and Passing – is the first musical release of the longterm peace orchestra project, Sun Moon Sea. Devised during Vipassana meditation in March 2018, the origins of this song were born while staying at Sandino World Improvement Network in Berlin over the summer of 2018.

Arising and Passing was mixed and completed during national Indian lockdown in Goa, making the most out of available time.

This song is a practice production by Animism, an upstart new act that is intended for a live touring band and simpler solo/DJ act. Other recent tracks by Animism include Magical (Preview) that was released on 02.02.2020.

Sun Moon Sea will begin recruiting orchestral musicians for one off peace/benefit concerts from 2021, and will eventually perform live cinematic soundtracks with touring films, such as The Dogs Live On (2030). Intended causes include unity in South Africa, cooperation in Gaza, indigenous issues in Australia and North America and bridging culture between Europe and Asia.

More releases are expected over 2020.

Arising and Passing by Sun Moon Sea

“Everything in the entire universe, from atoms through humans to stars, arises and passes, endlessly arising and passing away. It’s best to appreciate the good times while we have them, and also do not fear the bad – these times will also pass. Continue to believe in your path and live with purpose. Every moment counts.”
